Hello Friends,
I just wanted to let you know about our upcoming show this Friday, July 30 from 8:30 pm to 10:00 pm in Napa at the NAPA CITY NIGHTS CONCERT!
Johnny Smith along with David Bell (guitar), Scott Thompson (bass), John Waller (drums) and maybe some other special guests! Will be pouring their hearts out for you Friday Night!
In the heart of downtown Napa is the renovated Veterans Memorial Park Amphitheater. Construction was completed in May 2008 as part of the Napa River Walk & flood control project. With Terraced seating areas, elegant lighting and beautiful views of the Napa River, the park is a unique venue for watching talented musicians and performers. Musical genres include Jazz, Rock, Country, World, Blues, Pop and Folk.
The Amphitheater is located along the Napa Riverwalk Promenade and is within easy walking distance from world class restaurants and distinctive shops. Nearby public transit and public parking make visiting the venue a breeze. Bring a blanket and a picnic basket and enjoy free entertainment the whole family will enjoy.
MUSIC IS FROM 6-10PM WITH THE FOLLOWING ARTISTS:
Whitney Nichol - Acoustic
Amber Snider- Original cool American
Johnny Smith - Original Sophisticated Blues
Also I want to mention August 1st I will be playing mandolin with Linda Howard on guitar, Steve Della Maggioria playing accordion and all three of us will be singing at Compadres! 4 o'clock to 7 o'clock. We will be playing some Bluegrass and American roots music! Compadres is located at 505 Lincoln Ave in Napa! We're trying to come up with a name for this group. Any ideas anyone?
